Featured Project: Hotel Plaza Athenee
We started with an assessment of the experience and business fundamentals of the Bar, restaurant and additional Food & Beverage departments at the Plaza Athénée. Subsequently we provided two separate services: We identified a list of existing, suitable concepts and operators to include in a possible RFP process, that were to fit the Hotel’s brand & clientele, the local surroundings & market as well as certain criteria as operators.
Additionally we developed a midterm strategy to re-develop the concept to create charming, noteworthy experiences. The goals were to attract guests and garner exposure to the bar and restaurant, and drive the brand of the hotel forward – all while remaining at least cost neutral between the investment and expected financial results.

“From St. Moritz to St. Troupez”
A seasonal series of 3.5 months pop-ups, paying homage to the luxury resorts of the world: Luxurious, Resort – inspired, Glamorous, Escapist & Pleasurable.
We created a concept to appeal to the local community, create energy and ongoing visibility, improve the financial performance while remaining cost neutral overall, and help drive the Hotel’s luxurious brand forward. The goal was to bring wonderful slices of the world’s luxury resorts to New York and our client. Therefore, we looked to create a neutral shell in which 3.5 months pop up of would live, paying homage to the luxury resorts of the world.
In its initial personality, Apéro (the bar) and The Chalet (the restaurant) offer the best traditions of Alpine mountain resorts in the winter, and on the strength of creative design will easily morph into the easy breeze of European beach and jet-set feel in the spring and summer months.
The space will be a muted palette of luxury, dressed up and down for the seasons with art-work, decorative light fixtures, furniture & tabletop elements that change like the foliage and fauna through the year.
